Project Brief
Mad Science Foundation is a tongue-in-cheek board game from Cryptozoic Entertainment that turns players into mad scientists who are competing against each other to create the most infamous inventions.
Concept
With the motto “Insane Inventions Inspire Infamy,” 2-4 players are challenged to gather enough resources from the Mad Science Foundation and use their given Quirks to gain the most infamy. At the end, when all the inventions are built, the scientist with the most infamy is declared the winner. The visuals were inspired by Atomic Age design and 90’s cartoons like Dexter’s Laboratory. The design was kept clean and minimal to give visual emphasis to the icons and illustrations.
